Summer on the Hill inspires new knowledge

Back to All Stories

A group of eager learners spent a long weekend on campus recently, enjoying mini-courses with 澳门六合彩 faculty and summertime in Hamilton. Though many hadn鈥檛 been in a classroom for decades, they found they fit right in.

They were here for 澳门六合彩鈥檚 third annual Summer On the Hill event.

鈥淭he variety of courses stimulated our minds,鈥 wrote Lois Ziegler of Manhattan. 鈥淭here were many interesting events, delicious dinners of healthy foods, and really nice 澳门六合彩 people.鈥 She attended with her husband Ron Ziegler 鈥55.

鈥淥nce again, 澳门六合彩 alumni reminded us that the relationship between student and faculty is so valuable,鈥 said Tim Mansfield, director of alumni relations.

Summer on the Hill is just one way alumni and parents can continue their learning through 澳门六合彩. Registration is now open for Living Writers Online, a livestream discussion of four books by international writers taking place this fall. The interactive class also includes webcasts, a blog for participants and faculty, a kick-off event in New York City on August 23, and a capstone event on 澳门六合彩鈥檚 campus with Salman Rushdie.
